Are you interested in hosting a TMS training course at your agency? As compensation for your hosting of a TMS course, we will provide three (3) free positions for employees of your agency in the hosted training course.

Host Agency Responsibilities:

  1. Provide the facility and equipment, including computers, required for the course. Any rental fees, cleaning deposits, etc., associated with the facility or equipment are the responsibility of the hosting agency.
  2. Handle reservations for the course. Maintain a list of reservations. Ensure that reservations do not exceed capacity of the facility. Maintain a list of alternates and contact alternates if space becomes available.
  3. Promote the course locally in regional training groups and with neighboring agencies.
  4. Provide a person for liaison on the dates of the course. This person can also be a student in the course.
  5. Provide refreshments. (Optional, but greatly appreciated)
  6. If hands-on training, ensure that the software is loaded on the PC's before the class date.
     

Training Innovations Responsibilities:

  1. Provide TMS software for use on computers during the course.
  2. Promote the course through mailings, email notices, and publishing on web site.
  3. Provide the instructor(s).
  4. Provide all student hand-out materials.
  5. Provide LCD Projector and notebook computer for instructor.
  6. Handle registration on the day of the course. Handle all tuition payments, billing, deposits, etc. for student fees.
  7. Assist with removal of the software from the PC's after the course. (If requested by the host agency)

Minimum Class Size:

The minimum class size for all TMS courses, excluding compensated positions for the hosting agency, is thirty (30) persons.

Facility Requirements
(TMS Basic Course - Lecture Format):

  1. Comfortable, air-conditioned classroom facility with desks/tables and seating for all students.
  2. Writing surface (white board or similar) and writing implements for instructor.
  3. Table, chair, and electrical connections for instructor to set up notebook computer and LCD projector for program demonstration.
  4. Projection screen.
  5. Electrical power for computer/LCD projector.

Facility and Equipment Requirements for TMS Hands-On Courses
(Basic and Advanced TMS Millennium Courses
- "Bring Your Own Laptop" Format):

  1. Comfortable, air-conditioned classroom with tables and power connections so that each student will be able to set up and power a notebook computer.
    (Ideally, 5% more spaces than students will ensure each student has a workspace in the event of malfunctions.)
  2. Writing surface (white board or similar) and writing implements for instructor.
  3. Table, chair, and electrical connections for instructor to set up notebook computer and LCD projector for program demonstration.
  4. Projection screen.

PC Minimum Requirements:

  1. Networking is NOT REQUIRED
  2. Windows XP, Windows 2000 or higher OS
  3. Pentium 4 or higher CPU
  4. 512 MB RAM or greater
  5. 800x600 Minimum Video Resolution
  6. External Mouse
  7. CD-ROM Drive
