Course Description:
The Basic TMS Millennium course is designed for those who are new to TMS
Millennium, are returning to TMS after an extended period, or who need a
refresher course in TMS data entry techniques, especially those who have not
received TMS training in several years. Since the TMS software is constantly evolving, new enhancements are added
with each release. This course is also revised along with TMS to include new
features and "best practices" techniques in each class.
The student is guided through a simulated "Day in the Life of a Training
Manager." Skills
developed include adding a new employee, scheduling training activities,
modifying the Training Plan, issuing equipment, and creating common memos,
forms, and reports.
This online format is designed to address the training needs of TMS users
who are unable to attend the classroom format training classes due to
scheduling or budgetary issues.
This course consists of four segments, presented over a four-day period.
This breaks up the training and enables students to deal with other issues
during the day.
Each day consists of a 2-hour live online presentation and self-paced
hands-on exercises, performed offline by each student. (exercises typically
take 1-2 hours) Students submit one homework assignment for each day's
exercises.
Class size is limited to 25 students. |
